AMA x BAS: Personal and Professional Branding Workshop

AMA had a great first event with over 40 people in attendance! The workshop event was all about the best way to create your own brand in a professional setting. Here are the details and highlights from speaker Erin Tanner:

• Throughout the event attendees were encouraged to use a workbook to have a very interactive and impactful experience

• Opens with what it means to have a brand and how you have a brand regardless of if you're intentionally creating one

• You are the brand based on your values, skills and strengths, and network

• Discusses core values and how your values correlate with your life experiences

• Mentions how your journey is always changing and evolving

• Talks about how it's important in a partnership or group setting to be using what your good at to play off each others strengths and weaknesses

• Creating your network is a powerful experience because it means those people will advocate for you while you're not even there

• It's about who you know and what you know

• It's essential to have strong communication skills
