MOTM: MindgruveMacarta

We had our first AMA paid member event and it was a huge success. 18 of us traveled to MindgruveMacarta offices in downtown San Diego and were able to get an office tour and presentation from some of their amazing employees. Here's some more information from our trip off campus:

• Saw their incredible office comprised of 2 floors and a cozy, productive atmosphere

• Met employees and got insight into their normal tasks

• Had a mini Q&A with some of the employees about working at a marketing firm

• Presentation about how MindgruveMacarta is a marketing firm that provides a variety of clients with in house full service marketing assistance

  • Saw example campaigns for clients

  • Interactive presentation with lots of fascinating information about what it would be like working there and working with clients

It's a great opportunity to network and see what it's like to actually work at a marketing firm. Our next event, which is open to all members, is Big Topics in Marketing: Purpose Driven Brands. It will be this Thursday (10/17) at 12:30 in KCBE 126 where we will have 3 wonderful speakers! Chick-fil-a will also be provided and you can see the attached flyer for more information :)
